Ralf Wahlsten – Non-Executive Chairman

Ralf was appointed Non-Executive Chairman in April 2009.

Ralf is a Managing Director of Sirius Consulting, a Professional Enterprise Growth Promoter, assisting entrepreneurs who are about to transform their business idea into commercial operations. Before joining Sirius Consulting Ralf has been working as a management consultant for Indevo, AT Kearney and Carta / Booz-Allen Hamilton.

Jarl Danielsson – Non-Executive Director

Jarl was appointed Non-Executive Director in April 2009.

Prior to that he was CEO for the Eckerö Group with the ferry companies Eckerö Linjen and Eckerö Line as well as bus traffic. Before that he held senior positions at the cruiseferry operator Viking Line

Lennart Joelsson – Non-Executive Director

Lennart was appointed Non-Executive Director in April 2009.

He is currently Managing Director for Ålands Utvecklings Ab a venture capital company with focus on companies within the technology, maritime service, IT and environmental sectors.

Sven-Erik Holmberg – Non-Executive Director

Sven-Erik was appointed Non-Executive Director in April 2009.

He is currently Managing Director for Holmbergs Ab and a former Non-Executive Director of the ferry operator Eckerö Linjen Ab as well as the cruise operator Birka Cruises and potato chips manufacturer Chips, both at that time listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

Ulf Lindholm – Non-Executive Director

Ulf was appointed Non-Executive Director in April 2009.

He is a Master of Business Economics from Åbo Akademi in Finland and worked as Controller for the cruiseferry operator Viking Line before he in 1998 joined the Eriksson Capital as Group Controller.

Ulf is also Non-Executive Chairman of Marel Ab and Non-Executive Director of Ålands Schakt Ab and Coachinvestor Ab.

Kaj Arnö – Deputy Non-Executive Director

Kaj was appointed Deputy Non-Executive Director in April 2009.

Kaj is currently working at Sun Microsystems as Vice President Database Community. Before joining Sun Kaj worked in different positions for MySQL. Last as Vice President Community Relations. Kaj joined MySQL at an early stage and played a leading role in creating the phenomena MySQL.

Anders Rundberg – Managing Director

Anders Rundberg is Managing Director of Carus. Anders founded Carus and has been its Managing Director since 1997. While Carus was a subsidiary of Anite Travel Anders was part of the Anite Management Team as General Manager Transportation.

Anders is a Master of Business Economics and has before he joined Carus held a number of senior positions with the large Baltic ferry operator Viking Line. He has over 30 years experience in software, managed services and the ferry industry.

Mats Olsson – Customer Service Director

Mats joined Carus in 2001 and is responsible for the Customer Service, Support and is functionally responsible for CarRes, Carus’ booking and check-in system.

Mats is an Electronic Engineer with more than 30 years of experience from the ferry industry. He started his career as Systems developer for Tor Line working with their booking system. After that he became a consultant working for BITS and IDK Frontec working with systems for forwarding, bookings and accounting.

Before he joined Carus worked for the ferry companies DFDS Seaways and Scandlines as project manager specialized in booking and check-in solutions and integration with other systems like financial packages.

Niklas Isaksson – Production Manager

Niklas joined Carus in 2000 and has been working with development of the CarRes system and Account Management with responsibility for Key Customers.

Niklas is a Bachelor in Information Technology from the Åland University of Applied Sciences.

Niklas is responsible for software production and has more than 10 years experience from the IT and travel industry.

Rasmus Westerback – Managed Service Manager

Rasmus joined Carus in 2001 following a session as IT-teacher at Praktika.

Rasmus is responsible for the Manged Service operations where Carus operates the customers’ business critical applications in Carus’ computer centers located in Finland and USA.

Rasmus is also responsible for the managed service provided remotely to customers hosting their own system.

Sune Wilhelms – Professional Services Manager

Sune is responsible for the Professional Services and is an experienced Senior Project Manager for international technical as well as administrative projects. In addition to that he has experience from Design, Test & Verification of different types of IT-solutions.

Before joining Carus Sune has been a Senior Consultant at Enator in Stockholm being responsible for international Projects such as Development of Communi¬cation Software for the German Post & Telecom, Failsafe Software for Automatic Train Protection to Taiwan and Development of GSM Radio Base Stations for the US market.
